Israeli elections are getting close again, and guess what that means? That's right, Israeli attacks against Palestinians. Israel attacked Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, killing at least 195 people. The excuse? The rockets launched from Gaza. Now, no country in the world would tolerate being attacked by rockets. However, when these "rockets" are really glorified firecrackers, that very rarely injure or kill, responding to them by murdering 195 people is more than just an overreaction.
Why are Israeli leaders doing this? Because they're up for reelection soon. And so in order to prove they are tough, and avoid losing to the right wing, the government decides to bomb Gaza, and kill more Palestinians. Let the campaigning begin.
