Apparenly, arab leaders have given Condi Rice gifts worth over $300,000. What I find more interesting is this "Early in the year, Jordan's King Abdullah II presented Ms Rice with a diamond and emerald set - including a necklace, bracelet, earrings and a ring - worth $147,000 (£100,000), according to the list."
Jordan is a relatively poor country. Why can't the Jordanian King donate the money to more deserving people, such as poor people in Jordan?!
